Four steady steps. Logistics recruitment without the talk-show.

The brief, properly

30 to 45 minute call. Licence categories, shift pattern, fleet type, route mix, salary band, start date. Written brief returned to confirm.

ii.

Targeted search

We work our network of vetted drivers and logistics professionals. Licences, CPC, references and right-to-work all checked.

iii.

Tight shortlist

Three to six candidates with our notes attached. Salary expectations, availability, nearest depot, licence and ticket status.

iv.

Offer and start

We coordinate the offer, manage notice periods and start dates, then check in at day 7, 30 and 90.

Logistics recruitment, the way it should run

Bluestones Logistics is a UK permanent recruitment partner focused on logistics and transport. Every candidate we introduce is direct-hire, salaried, on your payroll the day they start. We do not run a temp desk. The talent we work with wants steady work, a fair rate and a transport office that runs by the book.

Logistics hires differently to other sectors. The right driver is the one whose digital tacho is clean, whose DCPC hours are current, whose references say he turns up on time and follows the run sheet. We check all three before a name reaches your desk. The wrong hire on a transport fleet costs more than time, it costs the round, the customer and the O-Licence good standing.

Our network spans the UK with strong coverage across the East and West Midlands, the M62 corridor, the South East, Scotland and South Wales. National contracts, regional fleets and single-depot operators are all welcome.

Every direct-hire placement carries a free replacement period. If a hire leaves or is dismissed inside the agreed window, we re-run the search at no charge. The window is usually 8 weeks for drivers and 12 weeks for transport managers and supervisory hires.
